The JESUS film is a 2 hour motion picture about the life of Christ, taken from the Gospel of Luke. It was filmed in 1979 in the Holy Land, with years of research, painstaking accuracy of color, cloth and sets to reflect first century Palestine. What started as an effort to put the book of Luke to film has resulted in the exposure of most of the world to the gospel of Jesus Christ. No other film in history has been translated in over 1000 languages. God is truly using this tool to change the lives of millions for the better, as they enter into an eternal relationship with the One who created them.
